A gaming system is a complete suite to manage the promotional gaming side of the business.
They come with:✺ Point of Sale - For you to complete sales, redemptions, reports, etc

✺ Jackpot Display - A special set of prizes in addition to normal game prizes
-
Some gaming systems restrict how close operators can be to each other. This is required by the manufacturers, not ICG. It takes about a week to get approved.
Among our various gaming systems, only the following require approval for use:
✺ 100+
✺ Big Daddy Dragon
✺ Black Mamba
✺ Diamond Dragon
✺ Fortune 2 Go
✺ Golden Dragon
✺ GrandX
✺ Magic City
✺ Ocean Sweeps
✺ River

Net revenue is the dollar amount you are left over with after all prizes have been redeemed. Hold is the percentage you are left over with after all prizes have been redeemed.
If a business has $100 in sales, and $60 in prizes, then you are left with $40. In this scenario, the net revenue is $40.
If a business has $100 in sales, and $60 in prizes, then you are left with $40. In this scenario, the hold percentage is 40%.
Factors that can have an impact with raising or lowering your hold from most to least are:
✺ Gaming System chosen
✺ Promotions
✺ Redemption policy
✺ Customer TypeOver a month or so the hold will level out, but expect a varying hold from high to low on a day-to-day basis. Most systems average between 20-50%.

Winnings are determined by the next prize in the prize pool. The prizes are already created and set in order. The order is unknown, so no matter when and how the games are played, the result will always be the same.
Now, what makes this a little tricky, is that sometimes some customers will win, then reinvest their winnings to keep playing, this is called a win-to-play customer. A customer that wants to win, for the sake of getting more play.
Each gaming system uses a different prize pool so therefore will have a different winning ratio. Some system winning ratios are:
High Volatility - Infrequent Wins, and biggest amounts
Mid Volatility - Mid Wins, and mid amounts
Low Volatility - Frequent wins, and smaller amounts
Depending on your customers, you may want a system that has a specific winning ratio. Ask your ICG sales representative for suggestions.
NOTE: These systems do not have algorithms, or any random number generators (RNG). Only prize pools are used.

Most gaming systems don't have an option to adjust the winning percentage. In some really bizarre and extreme situations, where a store has had a hold outside of the expected range over a 2-3 month period, the winning percentage may be modified.
How customers win and what they win is the most important part of any gaming system. The software companies have figured out what setting works best with their software and want to keep the winning percentages with the algorithm they have already identified as the most successful.

Promotions are features built into the different gaming systems. Promotions are designed to give your players freebies. If you use one of the built in promotions, the gaming system does not charge for use. Here are some of the Promotions available:
✺ Free 100 - This awards a free amount of points to a player's account. Usually no purchase is tied to this
✺ Cashback - Awards extra points to a players account if they reach a minimal balance without redeeming
✺ Bounceback - Purchase Promotions such as 500 free with $20 purchase
✺ Referrals - Rewards customers for bringing you other spending customers
Promotions do vary from gaming system to gaming system. Not all promotions are the same from system to system, or available on each gaming system.
If you use promotions that are built into the system, then you are not charged for those points.
If you choose to give points to your players by doing your own promotion (one that isn't built in), the manufacturers do charge for those points.
